Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar and Dal Lake Shikara Ride

Upon your arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be driven for approximately 35 minutes through the heart of New Srinagar city, passing the Abdullah Bridge, which connects the banks of the Jhelum River.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Later, enjoy a one-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake, exploring its waterways, canals, floating gardens, vegetable gardens, water lilies, floating handicraft centers, and the unique lifestyle that has flourished on the lake for decades.

Overnight stay at the hotel/houseboat.

Day 2: Scenic Drive from Srinagar to Pahalgam (102 km / Approx. 3.5 Hours)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Pahalgam, a beautiful tourist destination in Kashmir situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River. Once a humble shepherd's village, Pahalgam is blessed with breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains, dense forests, and pristine lakes.

Drive via Pampore, Avantipora, and Bijbehara, known as the breadbasket of Kashmir. Continue through Khanabal and Anantnag, where the route becomes increasingly scenic, running parallel to the Lidder River.

En route, visit the saffron fields and the 1,100-year-old Avantipur Ruins.

Pahalgam also boasts an 18-hole golf course of exceptional beauty. It is famous for alpine treks, nature walks, and as the base camp for the Amarnath Yatra.

Check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3: Explore the Beauty of Pahalgam

After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing on your own. Pahalgam offers many places of interest, the most beautiful being Baisaran, a vast meadow surrounded by thick pine forests.

Visit Betaab Valley, located on the way to Chandanwari, which is an idyllic picnic spot and has served as a backdrop for numerous Bollywood movies.

Aru Valley, located 12 km from Pahalgam, is a picturesque meadow and the starting point for treks to Kolahoi Glacier, Katrinag, Lidderwat, and the Marsar and Tarsar Lakes.

Day 4: Journey from Pahalgam to Gulmarg (148 km / Approx. 3 Hours)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Gulmarg, situated at an altitude of 2,730 meters above sea level. Pass through willow-lined roads, fast-flowing streams, and lush green meadows.

Known as the "Meadow of Flowers," Gulmarg offers spectacular views of snow-covered peaks and dense forests of fir and pine trees.

Take a stroll or enjoy a pony ride (at your own expense) across the beautiful meadows to one of the world's highest golf courses.

Do not miss the famous Gondola ride (at your own expense), one of the highest cable cars in the world.

Day 5: Gulmarg to Sonmarg – The Meadow of Gold (130 km / Approx. 3 Hours)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Sonmarg, the "Meadow of Gold," situated at an altitude of 3,000 meters above sea level.

Surrounded by dense forests and towering mountains, Sonmarg is a paradise for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. It serves as an important stop on the route to Kargil and Ladakh and is also the gateway to various trekking trails, glaciers, high-altitude lakes, and the holy Amarnath Cave.

The Sindh River flowing through Sonmarg is famous for trout and Mahseer fishing during summer.

You may enjoy a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier for snow activities (at your own expense).

Day 6: Return to Srinagar and Handloom Shopping (90 km / Approx. 3 Hours)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Srinagar.

En route, visit the famous handloom centers known for authentic Pashmina and Shahtoosh shawls, as well as world-renowned Kashmiri carpets.

The rest of the day is free for leisure and personal activities.

Overnight stay at the hotel/houseboat.

Day 7: Srinagar City Tour and Mughal Gardens

After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Srinagar's famous Mughal Gardens, including Chashme Shahi (The Royal Spring), Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure), and Shalimar Bagh (The Abode of Love).

These beautiful gardens are located on the banks of Dal Lake and are designed with symmetrical terraces, flowing water channels, and elegant fountains. Nishat Bagh, the largest among them, is adorned with magnificent Chinar trees.

By evening, return to the hotel/houseboat.

Day 8: Departure with Cherished Memories

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, carrying beautiful memories of a lifetime trip.

Accommodation for a couple on a double-sharing basis as per the itinerary.

One-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake.

Inner Line Permits for Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake.

Airfare, train fare, and entry fees at sightseeing spots.

Helicopter tickets for Vaishno Devi Darshan (Katra) or Amarnath Yatra (Pahalgam or Sonmarg).

Chain Jeeps required during heavy snowfall to reach Gulmarg from Tangmarg.

Any additional meals other than those mentioned in the inclusions.

Personal expenses such as porterage, tips, laundry, telephone calls, mineral water, monastery fees, garden fees, etc.

A 30% advance payment is required for confirmation, and the balance amount must be cleared 10 days before arrival.

In Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and Sonmarg, local taxis must be hired separately for inner sightseeing.

Tour & Travels reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary according to hotel availability.

Cancellation charges: Full retention applies for cancellations made within 21 days before arrival.

Some hotels may have separate cancellation policies, which will be communicated accordingly.
