Day 01: Arrival in Leh and Acclimatisation

Arrive at Leh Kushok Bakula Airport. This must be one of the most sensational flights in the world. On a clear day, one side of the aircraft offers views of the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, and Gasherbrum, while the other side presents the majestic Nun Kun massif so close that it feels within reach.

Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel for check-in. The entire day is reserved for rest and acclimatisation, followed by welcome tea or coffee at the hotel. In the evening, visit Shanti Stupa and later spend about an hour exploring the local market. Return to the hotel.

Day 02: Sham Valley Excursion and Leh Sightseeing

After breakfast, drive downstream along the Indus River on the Leh-Kargil Highway. Begin sightseeing with the Hall of Fame Museum, constructed by the Indian Army. Continue to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, nestled deep in the Himalayas.

Drive further to Magnetic Hill, which is famous for its gravity-defying phenomenon. Continue to the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. On the return journey, visit Spituk Monastery, built in the 15th century during the reign of Grags 'bum-lde.

Return to Leh. The rest of the day is free for leisure.

Day 03: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world at an altitude of 5,602 meters (18,390 ft).

Nubra Valley, also known as Ldumra or the Valley of Flowers, lies between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges. Upon arrival, check in to your camp or hotel in Hunder. In the evening, walk around the villages and experience the local lifestyle. A visit to a traditional Ladakhi home can also be arranged.

Day 04: Nubra Valley Exploration and Return to Leh

After an early breakfast, drive to Hunder, where you can enjoy a double-humped Bactrian camel ride amidst the dunes surrounded by snow-capped mountains.

Visit Diskit, the headquarters of Nubra Valley, and explore its bustling market. Visit the famous 515-year-old Diskit Monastery, magnificently situated atop a hill overlooking the valley.

Later, drive back to Leh via Khardung La Pass. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 05: Excursion to Pangong Lake

After an early breakfast, depart for Pangong Lake via Chang La Pass (5,486 m). Pass through Sakti Village and Tangtse, where you can stop for refreshments.

Pangong Lake, situated at an altitude of 14,000 feet (4,267 m), stretches over 133 km, with a large portion extending into China. The breathtaking blue waters and surrounding landscape offer an unforgettable experience.

After spending some time at Pangong Lake, return to Leh in the evening.

Day 06: Leh to Kargil via Lamayuru

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Kargil. En route, visit the Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers.

Continue through the mesmerising Moon Landscapes and visit Lamayuru Monastery, spectacularly located amidst mountains.

Arrive in Kargil and check in to the hotel.

Day 07: Kargil to Srinagar via Drass and Sonmarg

Start early for Srinagar via Drass, the second coldest inhabited place in the world after Siberia. Cross Zoji La Pass and descend into the lush valley of Sonmarg, leaving behind the rugged landscapes of Ladakh.

Upon arrival in Srinagar, transfer to your houseboat.

Dinner and overnight stay in the houseboat.

Day 08: Srinagar to Pahalgam – Valley of Shepherds

After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, covering approximately 125 km in about three hours.

En route, visit the saffron fields and the Awantipora Ruins, a 1,100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu built by King Awantivarman. Enjoy picturesque views of rice fields and pine forests. Visit Apple Valley before arriving in Pahalgam.

Day 09: Excursion to Aru Valley, Chandanwari, and Betaab Valley

After breakfast, visit Aru Valley, Chandanwari, and Betaab Valley by pony or local vehicle.

Betaab Valley is renowned for its lush meadows and was named after the Bollywood film Betaab. Surrounded by snow-clad mountains and dense forests, it is one of Kashmir's most scenic locations.

Chandanwari, located 16 km from Pahalgam, is the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra and is famous for snow sledging and stunning mountain views.

Aru Valley is known for its peaceful meadows and serves as a base camp for several trekking routes leading to Kolahoi Glacier, Tarsar-Marsar Lakes, and Lidderwat.

Day 10: Pahalgam to Gulmarg – Meadow of Flowers

After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, situated at an altitude of 2,730 meters. The journey of approximately 155 km takes around five hours.

Gulmarg boasts one of the best ski slopes in the world and the highest 18-hole golf course. Enjoy the scenic drive from Tangmarg to Gulmarg. You may also enjoy a Gondola ride up to Kangdoori (Phase I) on your own.

Day 11: Srinagar Mughal Gardens and Shikara Ride

After breakfast, proceed to Srinagar. In the afternoon, visit the famous Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh (Abode of Pleasure), built by Asif Khan in 1632, and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), built by Emperor Jahangir for his wife Noor Jahan.

En route, visit a carpet-weaving factory. In the evening, enjoy a majestic Shikara ride on Dal Lake, exploring floating gardens and vegetable gardens, and witness walnut wood carving and papier-mâché craftsmanship.

Day 12: Excursion to Yusmarg and Charar-e-Sharief

After breakfast, proceed to Yusmarg, located 47 km south of Srinagar.

Visit the historic shrine of Charar-e-Sharief, dedicated to Sheikh Noor-ud-Din, the patron saint of Kashmir. Continue to Doodh Ganga, named after the white foam created by its rushing waters. Surrounded by lush meadows, it is a paradise for nature lovers and anglers.

Later, return to Srinagar.

Day 13: Departure from Srinagar

After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey with beautiful memories of Kashmir and Ladakh.
