Day 01: Arrival in Guwahati
Upon arrival in Guwahati, our tour representative will assist you with a smooth transfer to the hotel. Check in and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel in Guwahati.
Day 02: Guwahati to Kaziranga National Park
After breakfast, visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, one of the most important Hindu pilgrimage sites. During the Ambubachi Festival, the temple attracts more than a million devotees. After seeking blessings from Goddess Kamakhya, return to the hotel and proceed by road to the renowned Kaziranga National Park.
Upon arrival, check in to the jungle resort. In the afternoon, explore a nearby tea estate, followed by a cultural show in the evening. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 03: Wildlife Safari in Kaziranga National Park
Early in the morning, around 5:30 AM, enjoy an Elephant Safari in the Central Range of Kaziranga National Park, followed by a Jeep Safari in the Eastern Range. Return to the resort for lunch and later proceed for another Jeep Safari in the Western Range of the park.
Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 04: Kaziranga to Shillong via Umiam Lake
After breakfast, drive to Shillong (approximately 280 km / 6 hours). En route, stop at the scenic Umiam Lake (Barapani), a tranquil lake surrounded by lush green hills, and enjoy lunch.
Upon arrival in Shillong, check in to the hotel. In the afternoon, explore the local market. Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.
Day 05: Excursion to Cherrapunji and Return to Shillong
After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit the spectacular Nohkalikai Falls and explore some of the fascinating caves in and around Cherrapunji.
On the return journey to Shillong, visit Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls. Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.
Day 06: Shillong Sightseeing and Return to Guwahati
In the morning, embark on a sightseeing tour of Shillong, including Lady Hydari Park and Ward's Lake. Popularly known as the "Scotland of the East," Shillong was the former capital of Assam and is home to the Khasi tribes.
After lunch, drive back to Guwahati and check in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Day 07: Departure from Guwahati
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
