Day 01: Arrival in Kolkata
Assistance upon arrival at Kolkata Airport, followed by pick-up and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Kolkata City Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Kolkata. Places of interest include Victoria Memorial, Indian Museum, Eden Gardens, St. Paul's Cathedral, Maidan, and Fort William. After the visit, return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Kolkata – Bagdogra – Gangtok
After breakfast, you will be provided with a departure transfer to Kolkata International Airport to connect with your flight to Bagdogra. Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, you will be met by our office executive, who will assist you in boarding your vehicle for Gangtok (5,500 ft / 1,677 m / 130 kms). Check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Gangtok Local Sightseeing
Enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour covering Rumtek Monastery, Jhakri Waterfall, Do Drul Chorten, the Research Institute of Tibetology, the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, and the Flower Show. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Baba Mandir and Tsomgo Lake, situated at an altitude of 12,400 ft (3,780 m), approximately 43 kms one way. The crystal-clear waters of the lake blend beautifully with the surrounding mountains. Return to Gangtok. Overnight at the hotel.
(In case of a landslide or any other reason causing Tsomgo Lake to remain closed, alternate sightseeing will be provided.)
Day 06: Gangtok to Lachung
Pick up from your Gangtok hotel and transfer to Lachung (8,000 ft / 2,439 m / 124 kms). En route, visit Tashi View Point, Kabi Longstok, Seven Sisters Waterfall, and Singhik View Point. Lunch will be served en route. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Excursion to Yumthang Valley
Early morning, proceed on a half-day excursion to Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft / 3,598 m / 25 kms one way). En route, visit the Hot Spring and Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary. Return to Lachung. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08: Lachung to Gangtok
Transfer back to Gangtok. En route, visit Bhim Nala Waterfall and Twin Waterfall. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09: Gangtok to Pelling
After breakfast, drive to Pelling (6,100 ft / 1,860 m / 116 kms) via Ravangla. Check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Pelling Heritage Walk
Enjoy a leisurely walking tour covering the three famous landmarks—Rabdantse Palace, Pemayangtse Monastery, and Sangachoeling Monastery.
An early morning walk of approximately 30 minutes takes you to Sangachoeling Monastery, the second-oldest monastery in Sikkim. Along the trail, birdwatchers may spot several exotic Himalayan bird species. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, visit the historic Rabdantse Palace, once the second capital of Sikkim, followed by Pemayangtse Monastery, which belongs to the Nyingma-pa order of Tibetan Buddhism. Built in the late 17th century by Lhatsun Chenpo, the monastery houses a remarkable wooden sculpture depicting Mahaguru's Heavenly Palace, Sangtok Palri, on its top floor. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: Pelling to Yuksom
After breakfast, drive to Yuksom (35 kms). En route, visit Darap Village, Rimbi Waterfall, Rimbi Hydro Project, Kecheopalri Lake (6,000 ft / 1,829 m), and Khangchendzonga Waterfalls.
Kecheopalri Lake is one of the most sacred Buddhist mountain lakes and is believed to fulfill wishes made in front of it. Legend says that whenever a leaf falls into the lake, a bird immediately picks it up, keeping the lake spotless.
Continue to Yuksom (5,840 ft / 1,780 m), known as the "Meeting Place of Three Monks" and the first capital of Sikkim, where the first Chogyal was crowned. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Yuksom Monastery Excursion
Early morning, enjoy a moderate 35-minute walk to Dubdi Monastery (built in 1700 AD and the oldest monastery in Sikkim) and visit Tashi Namgyal's Stone Throne, where the first king was crowned. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 13: Yuksom to Kalimpong
After breakfast, transfer to Kalimpong (3,937 ft / 1,200 m / 110 kms). Check in to the hotel. The evening is free to explore the local market. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 14: Kalimpong Sightseeing
Enjoy sightseeing in Kalimpong, covering Delo Hills, Dr. Graham's Homes, Flower Nurseries, Nature Interpretation Centre, Durpin Dara Hills, and Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang Monastery. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 15: Kalimpong to Darjeeling
Transfer to Darjeeling (7,380 ft / 2,250 m / 70 kms). Check in to the hotel. Optional river rafting is available en route to Darjeeling. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 16: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning excursion to Tiger Hill (8,364 ft / 2,550 m) at around 4:00 AM to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga (subject to clear weather).
On the return journey, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour covering the Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), and a Tea Estate. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 17: Excursion to Mirik & Pashupati Nagar
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Mirik (5,800 ft / 1,768 m / 50 kms) and Pashupati Nagar (Indo-Nepal border), famous for shopping. Visit Mirik Lake, where horse riding and boating are available on a direct payment basis. Return to Darjeeling in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 18: Darjeeling – Bagdogra – Delhi Departure
Transfer to Bagdogra Airport (100 kms) to connect your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi Airport, connect to your onward flight.
