Day 01 Arrival Delhi
Pick up upon arrival at Delhi international airport and drop at the hotel.
Delhi in addition to its Historic interest and role as the Government center, Delhi is a major travel gateway. It is one of India’s busiest entrance points for overseas airlines, the hub of the North Indian travel network and a stop on the overland route across Asia.
Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 – Delhi / Chandigarh – Distance 245 kms
After breakfast drive to Chandigarh.
Chandigarh, the dream city of India's first Prime Minister, Sh. Jawahar Lal Nehru, was planned by the famous French architect Le Corbusier. Picturesquely located at the foothills of Shivaliks, it is known as one of the best experiments in urban planning and modern architecture in the twentieth century in India.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
Later proceed to visit –
Rock garden - Chandigarh rock garden is an epitome of creativity and innovation. It is a unique garden that consists of various art objects. But the best part about the rock garden is that each of its artwork has been made by using industrial & urban waste. Rock garden has been established in the form of an open-air exhibition hall. The garden houses sculptures made by using a variety of different discarded waste materials like frames, mudguards, forks, handle bars, metal wires, play marbles, porcelain, auto parts, broken bangles etc.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 – Chandigarh / Manali - Distance 300 kms
After breakfast drive to Manali.
Just 40 kms away from Kullu to the north, Manali is situated near the end of the valley on the National Highway leading to Leh. The landscape here is breath taking. One sees well-defined snow capped peaks, the Beas river with its clear water meanders through the town. On the other side are deodar and pine trees, tiny fields and fruit orchards. It is an excellent place for a holiday, a favorite resort for trekkers to Lahaul, Spiti, Bara Bhangal (Kangra), and Zanskar ranges.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04 - Manali
After breakfast , proceed for half day sightseeing tour of Manali.
Places visit during the sightseeing –
Hadimba Devi - Dedicated to goddess Hidimba, the Bhim of Mahabharat fame. It has four-tiered Pagoda shaped roof and the doorway is carved with legendary figures and symbols. This temple located amidst wooden forest of deodar is about 2.5 kms. from the tourist office. It is a pleasant experience to stroll in the temple complex which was built in 1533 A.D. A large festival is held here in May.
Manu temple - 3 kms from the main bazar in old Manali lies the temple of MANU RISHI. It is believed that this is the only temple of Manu in India, who was the creator of human race on the earth
In the afternoon, you can visit –
Vaishisht hot sulphur spring bath – Vashist, a small village located on the left bank of river Beas towards Rohtang pass is worth a visit. It is renowned for its hot springs and temples. Nearby is the pyramidal stone temple dedicated to Vashist Muni. There is another Temple of Lord Ram here. Natural hot sulphur springs with two separate bathing tanks for gents and ladies are always full of tourists. Turkish style showers fitted baths have also been built nearby. Hot water from the nearby spring is provided for bathing.
After visit return back to the hotel. Evening is at leisure.

Day 05 – Manali / Sarchu - Distance 222 kms
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Sarchu via Baralacha Pass (4890m), Keylong (3350 m), & Rohtang Pass (3978 m).
Sarhu is halting place situated on the Leh-Manali National Highway in Leh district of Jammu and Kashmir, Sarchu is a small city filled with relaxing calm and serenity. It is widely known as Sir Bhum Chun and is situated in between Lachulung La to the north and Baralacha La its south. The place is resplendent with camps and tents for tourists to rest on their journey to Leh-Ladakh.
Upon arrival in Sarchu check in at our basic camp for overnight stay. It will also be the coldest night during the whole tour.

Day 06 – Sarchu / Leh – Distance 255kms
After breakfast drive to Leh via through Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft world second highest motorable road.
Leh was the capital of the Himalayan kingdom of Ladakh, now the Leh District in the Indian State of Jammu and Kashmir. Leh was an important stopover on trade routes along the Indus Valley between Tibet to the east, Kashmir to the west and also between India and China for centuries.
At Pang you can stop for lunch and continue driving to Lachungla pass, which is at a height of 5065 mts.
Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 – Leh
After breakfast proceed for day excursion to the famous monasteries.
It is interesting to visit early in the morning to enjoy the praying ceremony at Thiksey monastery.
Thiksey Monastery is the largest monastery in central Ladakh district in Jammu and Kashmir. It is situated 18 km from Leh in the Indus valley.The Tibetan Buddhist monastery of Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism is located at the top of hill. The monastery is famous for its architecture and its location. The 12 storey monastery has 10 temples, assembly hall, and residence for 120 monks and nunnery. The monastery buildings are structured in hierarchal order.
Continue drive to Hemis monastery which is one of the most famous monasteries of the Ladakh region.
Hemis Monastry is the wealthiest monastery in India and famous for its rich collection of ancient remnants like the statue of Buddha made of copper, stupas made of gold and silver. Monastery also has sacred Thangkas, murals and various artifacts.The Tibetan Buddhist monastery belongs to the Drukpa Lineage or the Dragon Order of Mahayana Buddhism. Gyalwang Drukpa, Tsangpa Gyare Yeshe Dorje in founded Drukpa Linegae 13th century. King Sengge Namgyal re-established it in the 17th century.
On the way back visit to Shey Palace.
Shey Palace, the erstwhile royal residence of the Laddakh monarchs, is the main attraction of Shey. The palace was built by Ladakh king Deldan Namgyal in 1655 AD. Namgyal also made Shey his summer capital. The palace offers views of vast expanse of the surrounding valleys. Currently, the palace serves as a centre of Buddhism and houses the Shey monastery. It has the largest golden Buddha statue. It covers almost three floors of the monastery. Painting on the walls, murals and sculptures of Buddha is worth seeing.
After visit, return back to hotel.

Day 08 – Khardongla - Nubra (DISKIT & HUNDER)
After early breakfast at the hotel departure to Nubra Valley with box lunch
Nubra Valley lies about 150 km north of Leh where the rivers, Shyok and Siachan, meet form a large valley. This valley separates the Ladakh from the Karakoram Ranges and the famous Siachen Glacier lies to the north of the valley.To the northwest of Nubra valley, lies The Sasser Pass and the famous Karakoram Pass of the 'Silk Route' fame which connect Nubra with Xinjiang. Panamik village is the last settlement in the northern end of in Nubra valley is open to tourists.
En route visit Khardongla pass, Diskit and Hundar monastery.
Khardung La pass is a high mountain pass located in Ladakh region of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The local pronunciation is "Khardong La" or "Khardzong La," but, as with most names in Ladakh, the romanised spelling varies. The pass on the Ladakh Range lies north of Leh and is the gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys. The Siachen Glacier lies partway up the latter valley. Built in 1976, it was opened to motor vehicles in 1988 and has since seen many automobile, motorbike and mountain biking expeditions. Maintained by the Border Roads Organisation, the pass is strategically important to India as it is used to carry supplies to the Siachen Glacier.
Diskit & Hundar Gompa is a Buddhist monastery built by Changzen Tserab Zanpo, a disciple of Tsong- Kha-Pa, in 14th century. This monastery is situated in the Nubra Valley of Ladakh. There is a popular legend attached to this monastery. As legend says, a Mongol demon, a sworn enemy of Buddhism, was destroyed near the monastery. After his death, his body still kept coming back to the monastery. It is also said that his wrinkled head and hand are still stored in the dark and claustrophobic temple surrounded by frightening Gods and Goddesses.
On arrival check in at Camp. Accommodation in the basic tents. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 09 - Nubra – Leh
After breakfast at the camp, Departure to Leh with lunch box. On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free for shopping and independent activities. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 - : Leh – Pangong Lake – Leh – Distance 290 kms
Leave early morning at 5AM to Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs.
Situated at a height of about 13,900 ft, the name Pangong is a derivative of the Tibetan word Banggong Co meaning "long, narrow, enchanted lake". One third of the lake is in India while the remaining two thirds lies in Tibet, which is controlled by China. Majority of the streams which fill the lake are located on the Tibetan side. Pangong Tso is about five hours drive from Leh in Ladakh region of Jammu & Kashmir. The route passes through beautiful Ladakh countryside, over Chang La, the third highest motorable mountain pass (5289 m) in the world.
While ascending Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages below the pass.
Upon arrival enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 144 Kms long with half of it’s running the other side of the “INDO CHINA BORDER”. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable.
In the late afternoon drive back to Leh. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 11 – Leh / Delhi (Flight)
Early morning you will be provided drop to the Leh airport to connect flight for Delhi.
Upon arrival, pick up from Delhi airport and drop to the hotel.
Later proceed for half day sightseeing of New Delhi. Places included in the sightseeing are –
India Gate – At the centre of New Delhi stands the 42 m high India Gate, it commemorates the 70,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives fighting for the British Army during the World War I. The memorial bears the names of more than 13,516 British and Indian soldiers killed in the Northwestern Frontier in the Afghan war of 1919
Qutub Minar - Qutab Minar is a soaring, 73 m-high tower of victory, built in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak immediately after the defeat of Delhi's last Hindu kingdom. The tower has five distinct storeys, each marked by a projecting balcony and tapers. The first three storeys are made of red sandstone; the fourth and fifth storeys are of marble and sandstone. At the foot of the tower is the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, the first mosque to be built in India. An inscription over its eastern gate provocatively informs that it was built with material obtained from demolishing '27 Hindu temple.
Humayun’s Tomb - It was built in 1565 A.D. nine years after the death of Humayun, by his senior widow Bega Begam. Inside the walled enclosure the most notable features are the garden squares with pathways water channels, centrally located well proportional mausoleum topped by double dome. There are several graves of Mughal rulers located inside the walled enclosure and from here in 1857 A.D

Day 12 – Delhi / Agra / Delhi Departure – Distance 412 kms
Early morning drive to Agra.
Agra is famous as being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World-the Taj Mahal. Agra was once the capital of the Mughal Empire and even today it seems to linger in the past. Not surprising, for the Mughal emperors with their passion for building, endowed the city with some of the finest structures in the world. It is very easy to slip away here through the centuries into the grandeur and intrigues of the Mughal court.
Upon arrival at Agra proceed for sightseeing –
Taj Mahal - The Taj Mahal is the epitome of Mughal art and one of the most famous buildings in the world. Taj Mahal was built in 22 years (1631-1653) with the orders of Shah Jahan and it was dedicated to Mumtaz Mahal (Arjumand Bano Begum), the wife of Shah. 20.000 workers labored and 32 crore rupees were spent during the construction of the monument and it was built according to Islamic architecture. It is one of the Unesco world heritage site.
Agra Fort - The Agra Fort was begun by Akbar between 1565 and 1573. It is situated on the west bank of the Yamuna River, about 2km upstream from the Taj Mahal. Akbar built the fort of sandstone; his grandson Shah Jahan, the builder of the Taj Mahal, constructed palaces of white marble within the fort itself. Shah Jahan was imprisoned in Agra Fort following the coup of his son, Aurangzeb, and died here in 1671.
After visit drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival you will be provided drop to the Delhi international airport to connect flight for onwards journey.
