Morning 06:30 and Afternoon 14:30 time to visit into the National Park, jeep safaris are accompanied by a guide/escort and last for 3-4 hours in the morning and 3-4 hours in the afternoon, The main attraction of it is one horned rhinoceros with wild buffalo, Elephant, tiger a variety of deer, Bear, Python, and prehistoric looking monitor lizard. The Kaziranga wildlife is also adorned with the crested serpent eagle, Pella’s fishing eagle and Grey headed fishing Eagle with a number of other Bird species like the Jungle fowl, Bengal florican and water fowl, goose, a large number of pelicans, Black naked stork, Snake Bird and so on.

Just opposite the main gate of Kaziranga National Park a gate with black Rhinos on both sides leads you straight to the jeep safari counter. The straight narrow road is surrounded by tea gardens on both sides and there are few guest houses nearby and a souvenir cum coffee shop. Jeeps come in and go out all the time, dropping and picking up visitors.

There are two shifts for jeep Safari one in the morning and other in the evening. The animals in the park have certain right to privacy at noon.

The jeep safari can be booked instantly. There are five ranges for Jeep Safari- Central Range, Western, Eastern Range, Burapahar Rang and Panbari Reserve Forest (for hiking). Since the Park big in it is difficult to cover the whole park. The two hours jeep Safari covers only a small area. The prices depend on the range as well. Central Ranges covers a smaller area and therefore cost the least while Burapahar Range cost the most.
