Package Itinerary

Day 1- (Changrabandha to Phuentsholing or Thimphu ) The guests will be welcomed and greeted at Burimari and picked up from there by us. Burimari to Phuentsholing is 99.4 km with approximate 3 hours journey. The guests shall be directly dropped at Phuentsholing Immigration Office for entry permit purpose. The permit processing shall be assisted and guided by the driver. The time consumption to process entry permit totally depends on the number of tourists waiting in the queue for permit. More the number of person, more time will be consumed and vice-versa. Check in at Hotel in Phuentsholing and rest.

Day 2- (Phuentsholing to Thimphu and local sightseeing) Early morning after breakfast the guests shall be driven steadily via Thimphu Highway enjoying the picturesque valley. The total distance from Phuentsholing to Thimphu is 170 km. Upon reaching Thimphu process for special permit to Punakha. It will take half an hour for processing it. Separate permit is needed to visit Punakha because it is considered a sacred place; it once used to be the Capital city of Bhutan. After permit the guests shall be taken out for local sightseeing. The local sightseeing points are Buddha Dordenma which is gigantic Buddha statue in the mountains of Bhutan, National Memorial Chorten which was built in the memory of Third Kind of Bhutan and its dedicated to World Peace, Takin Reserve where our national animal which is believed to be made up of an ox, the antelope, a sheep and a goat. It is rare and endemic to the eastern Himalayas. Visit Tashichhodzong. It is a fortress in the northern edge of Thimphu city. It has been the seat of the government since 1952 and presently houses the throne room and offices of the king, the secretariat and the ministries of finance. Visit Simply Bhutan where the guests will be briefed about Bhutan, its rich culture and tradition. If guests get time then they can visit the Centenary Vegetables Market which is two stored building fully equipped with colorful and fresh scented vegetables. Then rest at hotel.

Day 3- (Thimphu to Punakha) Thimphu to Punakha is 85.7 km which is 2 hour 30 minutes approximate journey. The sightseeing on the way to Punakha is Dochula Pass which is a mountain pass at 3100m with 108 memorial Chorten or stupas that was built in honor of Bhutanese soldiers who died in 2003 military operation. On reaching Punakha the first sightseeing will be Punakha Dzong (fortress). Another one is Chhimi Lakhang/Monastery which is also called as the Fertility Temple. This monastery is renowned throughout Bhutan as a fertility inducing magnet, pledging that who all wish to conceive will find guidance at the temple. The last sightseeing point in Punakha is Suspension Bridge which is the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan. After all the sightseeing is covered, rest at hotel.

Day 4- (Punakha to Paro local sightseeing) Early morning after breakfast drive to Paro. Punakha to Paro is 65 km distance and it takes approximately 2 hours journey by road. On the way the guests can stop at bird’s eye view point and by the river side of Pa-Chhu. Visit the oldest temple in Bhutan called Kichu Lakhang. It was built in 7th Century by Tibetan King. Check in hotel in Paro same day (Tiger Nest Hike Monastery. It is prominent Himalayan Buddhist sacred site and monastery over night at Paru

Day 05 Transfer from Paru to Darjeeling over night at hotel

Day 06 Early morning Excursion to Tiger Hill and Mt Kangchenjunga Range ,Ghoom monastery ,Batasia Loop , Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Zoological Park,Teau Garden, Japanese Temple ,Peach Pegoda and free for personal activity

Day 07 Transfer from Darjeeling to Pelling

Day 08 After breakfast visiting pelling and drive to Gangtok

Day 9 Tsomgu lake and local sightseeing in Gangtok Gangtok town covering Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sunday and Govt. holidays), Do Drul Chorten, Handicraft Emporium, (closed on Sund joay and Govt. holidays) and Flow show and free for personal activity

Day 10 Transfer from Gangtok to Lachung

Day 11 Excursion to Yumthamg valley and drive back to Gangtok Day

12 Transfer from Gangtok to airport or NJP railway station drop
